about

Description

As the sun sets, and the stars begin to shine, I hear the sky next to my heart. Sometimes I think I hear a noise, far off, but the still night calms.

** Listening tips
Most people fall asleep or meditate during this piece.

For the best experience: find or create a silent, dark space (at night is best) and get very comfortable. Lie in between the speakers if you can.

Subwoofer(s) are highly recommended. Although it's a stereo source, if you can create a quad/surround configuration around you it will help to create an immersive effect.

Alternatively, good headphones will also work well.

** Background
Written for a 1994 production of John Websters "White Devil" for Moral Support then re-formed at the 50th anniversary of the Jodrell Bank radio telescope in 2007.
